Design Wars Episode 2: Rise of the Innovator

 

The Design and Innovation Clinic is aimed at inspiring young minds to nurture scientific and engineering temperament to build a better India. The Central Manufacturing Technology Institute, an autonomous R&D Institute under Dept. of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Govt. of India, is organising a 3-day design clinic at CMTI for prefinal, final year engineering students, master's first and final year students (Expected to pass out in 2020 and 2021). Students are expected to select one of the two themes mentioned. We shall also provide a mentor during the workshop to hone and guide these young talents to see them through the finish line. • "Promoting individual innovation" gives a team the flexibility to come up with their own unique projects.

• "Innovative solution to industrial problems" specifies pre-determined problems faced by industries on which teams are expected to work. The winning team who have chosen the second theme are eligible for special awards and shall be recognised by the industry.
